A leading commercial real estate developer is seeking an accomplished Chartered Accountant to join its finance function. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional with extensive experience in indirect taxation, strong stakeholder management skills, and the ability to operate in a dynamic corporate environment.
Eligibility
Qualified Chartered Accountant
Minimum 10 years of post qualification experience
Proven expertise in GST and indirect taxation
Strong understanding of tax compliance, advisory, assessments, and litigation
Excellent communication and business writing skills
Experience working with multinational clients and managing corporate communications
Exposure to the commercial real estate sector will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities
Lead the organization's indirect tax compliance and advisory functions
Manage GST assessments, audits, notices, and litigation support
Evaluate tax implications relating to commercial real estate transactions
Liaise with consultants, auditors, statutory authorities, and regulatory bodies
Partner with internal teams and multinational clients on indirect tax matters
Ensure complete compliance with applicable tax laws and regulatory requirements
Provide timely responses to audit observations and tax related queries while maintaining the highest standards of governance and compliance.
