Help launch a builder into a brand-new sector, and own it from day one.A growing New York General Contractor and Construction Manager, known for delivering technically demanding commercial, hospitality, and residential projects with real in-house fabrication and self-perform capability, is moving into industrial and cold storage construction. They’re hiring a Project Manager to lead that push.
This is the rare seat where you’re not slotting into an established machine, you’re helping build the division. You’ll take a technically complex project from preconstruction through completion, working shoulder to shoulder with ownership, the design team, Superintendents, and trade partners, and your fingerprints will be on how this new sector runs.

The roleYou’ll own overall project delivery, working closely with ownership, the design team, Superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and consultants.
Manage projects from preconstruction through closeoutLead planning, scheduling, procurement, and executionOwn budgets, cost control, forecasting, and change ordersCoordinate subcontractors, consultants, vendors, and field teamsReview drawings, specifications, and contract documentsLead constructability reviews and resolve coordination issuesManage RFIs, submittals, payment applications, and documentationDevelop and maintain project and procurement schedulesCoordinate complex MEP, refrigeration, structural, and architectural scopesSpot and manage project risks before they become issuesLead project meetings and keep client relationships strongOversee punch list, commissioning, turnover, warranties, and closeout
What they’re looking for5+ years of construction project management experienceA track record on large-scale warehouse, distribution, industrial, or logistics projectsCold storage, refrigerated, or temperature-controlled facility experience (strongly preferred)Experience across the full construction lifecycleStrong grasp of scheduling, cost control, and subcontractor managementComfort coordinating complex MEP and refrigeration scopesSolid contract administration and documentation skillsConfidence working directly with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractorsStrong communication and problem-solving skillsProcore or similar software experience (preferred)Bachelor’s in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred)
