Licensed Therapist (LPHA) - Competency Restoration

The Harris Center for Mental Health and IDD (The HARRIS CENTER) is looking for a Licensed Therapist (LPHA) for our Jail Based Competency Restoration Program. Under the supervision of the Program Director, the CR-LPHA will be responsible for providing clinical services focused on assessment and legal education for defendants found incompetent to stand trial. The CR-LPHA will provide training as identified by 46B statuary requirements with the curriculum approved by the state for competency restoration, as needed. The CRE will utilize effective strategies to assist the multidisciplinary team with the implementation of a learning environment to facilitate change, focused on individuals found to be incompetent to stand trial who may have serious mental illness and/or intellectual disabilities.
