<p>Machine Operator I Apply Now Applied To save a job sign in or get started Job ID: 10314433 Posted today Back Dallas, TX, US Light Industrial High School or equivalent Full Time, Temporary $16.85hr Experienced (Non-Manager) On-site Automotive and Parts Mfg First Shift (Day) Dallas, TX, US $16.85hr Experienced (Non-Manager) Full Time, Temporary Automotive and Parts Mfg On-site Light Industrial High School or equivalent First Shift (Day) Apply Now Applied Job details The MO1 is responsible for the set up and operation of equipment within their cell and performing all hourly checks in regards to production, safety and quality. 1st shift- Mon to Thurs (4am to 2:30pm) $16.85hr- $19.64hr DOE 2nd shift- Mon to Thurs (2:30pm to 1am) $17.85h- $19.64hr DOE Responsibilities: Read blueprints, routers and determine the necessary operations Read calipers and micrometers Select abrasive belts or wheel according to specified type of finish Perform hourly safety and quality checks Examine parts for acceptability Setup of all equipment within given cell Cleanup and SFS of area as needed Assist in other cells as requested by leadership Education Required: HS Diploma or GED Equivalent Work Experience Required: Previous work in a manufacturing environment preferred Skills &amp; Knowledge Required: Ability to read, write and comprehend basic work instructions, short correspondence and memos Mathematical aptitude and ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure including whole numbers, common fractions and decimals Capable of using common sense understanding to carry our detailed instructions including written and oral Additional Traits and Competencies: Solving Teamwork Planning/Organizing Interpersonal Skills Desire to learn Physical Demands and Work Environment: Regularly required to stand, walk, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, and use hands Required to lift and/or move 10 lbs regularly and up to 33 lbs occasional Use of vision including peripheral, color, distance, depth perception and ability to adjust focus Regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, strong fumes and loud noises Occasionally exposed to extreme temperatures 10314433 Share this job Copied url To save a job sign in or get started To apply for this job email your details to I want more jobs like this in my inbox.
