Daily Responsibilities:

  • Operate assigned heavy equipment safely and productively to perform tasks such as excavation, grading, loading/unloading, material handling, and site preparation.
  • Perform manual labor as needed to support operations, such as digging, shoveling, and material handling.
  • Perform pre-operation and post-operation inspections of equipment, including maintenance tasks and reporting any issues to the supervisor.
  • Communicate clearly with the supervisor on production progress, material/equipment needs, and any project-related issues.
  • Maintain housekeeping at the work area/job site to prevent slips/trips/falls and ensure a safe working environment.

Required Skills:

  • Experience in civil construction and road construction projects.
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment such as scrapers, trackhoes, motor graders, bulldozers, front end loaders, and bobcats.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints for construction projects.
  • Knowledge of heavy equipment repair and maintenance.
  • Experience in excavation, welding fabrication, and pipelaying.

Salary and Benefits:

Minimum Salary: $46,000.00; Maximum Salary: $68,000.00
