The Fleet Administration Leader is responsible for managing fleet assets, material handling equipment, and transportation operations while ensuring safety, regulatory compliance, cost control, and operational efficiency. This role oversees carrier and vendor relationships, equipment contracts, invoice management, and continuous improvement initiatives to support business objectives. This position reports to the Director, Warehouse Operations and is part of the Logistics Department located in Lodi, CA, and will be an on-site role In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Manage fleet assets and material handling equipment, including forklifts, trailers, and transportation vehicles.
- Develop and maintain fleet policies, procedures, and transportation schedules to support safe and efficient operations.
- Audit transportation and equipment invoices, forecast expenses, analyze variances, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree or 5-8 years of relevant experience in fleet management, transportation, logistics, warehouse operations, or supply chain management
- Knowledge of DOT and transportation compliance requirements
- Data analysis using Excel, Power BI, or similar tools
- Experience managing equipment leases, maintenance contracts, and service providers
- Invoice auditing and financial analysis
- Ability to travel – 10% travel to Bay Area
- Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 30lb
