About the Role

Make an Impact.We are seeking an experienced Chief Product Engineer to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative industrial products. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for guiding engineering projects from concept through production while collaborating with customers, vendors, manufacturing, and cross-functional teams.The ideal candidate is a hands-on engineering leader with strong product design experience, exceptional project management skills, and a proven track record in material handling, conveyor systems, or related industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, testing, and enhancement of new and existing products.Create 3D models and product designs using SolidWorks and other engineering software.Develop engineering drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), routings, and manufacturing documentation.Ensure designs meet customer specifications, performance requirements, and quality standards.Serve as the lead engineering contact for customer projects, managing timelines, communications, and project execution.Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to source prototype materials and production components.Plan and oversee prototype builds and product validation testing.Analyze test data and implement design improvements based on results and field feedback.Identify cost-reduction opportunities through design optimization, material selection, and supplier partnerships.Conduct competitive product evaluations and provide technical support to sales and marketing teams.Establish engineering standards, best practices, and processes to promote consistency and efficiency.Mentor and lead engineering staff while fostering a collaborative, results-driven culture.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.10+ years of experience in product engineering, with significant experience in material handling, conveyor systems, or industrial equipment design.Strong proficiency with SolidWorks, Microsoft Office, and ERP systems.Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics.Experience performing engineering calculations, product testing, and design validation.Proven leadership experience managing engineering projects and teams. xzbcwsv Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
