We are firmly on track to achieve this success.Job SummaryOur opening is for an administrative support role in the Claim Department who is interested in joining a growing Excess and Surplus Lines Company. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the claim staff with various administrative duties as outlined below. The ideal candidate is professional, customer focused, a great multi-tasker and a team player.Claim Service Representative responsibilities include:Claims intake and setting up claims in the claims systemMonitor multiple department email inboxes throughout the dayDistribute both physical and electronic mailCheck processingAssist with Deductible RecoveryFile ISO indexes and assist with Medicare queriesInteract with customers, vendors and coworkers in a professional and appropriate mannerAnswer phone callsPerform other duties as requiredRequirementsEducation level: High School graduate. Post High School preferred, but not required. Insurance experience a plus.Experience: 2-5 years of administrative experience. xzbcwsv Insurance industry experience preferred, but not required.Specific Skills:Strong verbal and written communication skills requiredStrong Microsoft Office Skills requiredExperience working with Adobe Acrobat is preferredTyping speed of at least 40 wpmPersonal Characteristics:Ability to work in a fast paced environmentCollaborative and professionalComfortable multi-taskingComfortable working independently within a team towards a shared goalEffective communicatorLicenses: As required by lawDue to the fiduciary accountabilities within this job, a valid credit check and/or background check will be required as part of the selection process
