Tool Room ClerkPay: $23/hrShift: Day ShiftLocation: Elk Grove, CAAs an Inventory Clerk, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Maintenance Department by ensuring accurate inventory management, parts procurement, and effective recordkeeping. Your efforts will contribute to maintaining equipment reliability and smooth plant operations.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory levels of maintenance parts, tools, and supplies.Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming maintenance parts and materials.Issue parts to maintenance technicians and track usage.Perform routine cycle counts and physical inventory audits.Monitor inventory levels and coordinate reordering of parts as needed.Maintain accurate records within the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).Create, update, and close work orders in the CMMS system.Assist with preventive maintenance scheduling and documentation.Generate inventory, purchasing, and maintenance reports.Coordinate with vendors regarding parts availability, pricing, and deliveries.Utilize Microsoft Office 365 applications, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and Teams, to maintain records and communicate effectively.Support maintenance projects by gathering equipment information, manuals, and documentation.Maintain organized parts rooms and storage locations.Ensure compliance with company safety policies and procedures.Assist the Maintenance Manager with administrative and clerical tasks as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.Strong data entry and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.Strong attention to detail and recordkeeping abilities.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsPrevious experience in maintenance inventory control, maintenance administration, or warehouse operations preferred.Experience using CMMS software preferred.Forklift experience (1+ year preferred).Knowledge of warehouse and food safety practices.Maintenance parts inventory management.CMMS administration.Inventory auditing and cycle counting.Vendor coordination.Preventive maintenance support.Organizational and problem-solving skills.Experience in maintenance and manufacturing environments.Why Work Here?We offer competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, flexible savings accounts, health savings accounts, 401K matching savings plan, employee assistance program, wellness programs, life insurance, AD&D insurance, disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, student loan counseling, employee referral program, paid time off, and more!Work EnvironmentThis role involves working in a dynamic maintenance and manufacturing environment where attention to detail and organization are crucial.
