About the Role

Excellent with spreadsheets — pivots, lookups, trackers and dashboards built from scratch; picks up new tools (Retool, Zoho, Apollo) in days, not weeks.

• Follow-up is routine: daily chases on open action items happen by default, not reluctantly.

Qualifications

2–5 years in program management, founder's office / chief-of-staff, business operations, or consulting delivery — startup or services ecosystem strongly preferred.

Must-Have Requirements (Non-Negotiables)

• Has run an operating cadence before (reviews, standups, or a governance rhythm — company-wide or team-level) and can state its numbers: meetings run, closure rate, what broke when they were absent.
• Passes a live work-sample test: 30 minutes with a messy meeting transcript and a half-filled tracker — produce the MOM, the updated tracker, and the three follow-up messages. Live in the interview. No take-home. No exceptions.
• Handles the data-conflict drill: two sheets show different numbers for the same metric — explains how they decide which is true and what they say in the review. Correct instinct: Finance P&L; is canonical; flag the discrepancy proactively, never present both silently.
• Accepts the workload out loud: standups, in-office base, daily chasing, weekly review against numbers, naming individuals in status updates — including negative ones.
