Head of Operations & Business Management

A Financial Services Firm based in New York City is seeking an experienced professional to join their team as a Fixed Income Operations Manager. Manage trade allocations, confirmations, reconciliations, inventory records, and security lifecycle events Coordinate with investment, client service, finance, and operations teams to support transaction activity and reporting needs Support the implementation of new products, processes, and business initiatives Partner with technology teams to document business requirements and enhance internal systems Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field 8–10+ years of financial operations experience, including leadership or team-management responsibilities Strong understanding of transaction processing, settlement, reconciliations, and security lifecycle events Demonstrated knowledge of operational risk, controls, and exception management Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, PivotTables, and macros Experience with Tableau, Python, SQL, or other data and automation tools is a plus
