Job Description
We are seeking a highly experienced 3 DEXPERIENCE (3 DX) PLM Specialist to support a major global automotive program on a 6 months contract.
We are looking for a true 3 DX expert who understands how engineering data, product structures, configurations, BOMs, change management, and digital product development are managed across the entire vehicle lifecycle.
The successful candidate will be the bridge between engineering processes, product data governance, and the 3 DEXPERIENCE platform, helping drive consistency, traceability, and collaboration across global engineering teams.
About the Role
You will play a critical role in managing and optimising the 3 DEXPERIENCE ecosystem, ensuring engineering teams can effectively create, manage, release, and maintain product data throughout the product lifecycle.
A significant portion of this role focuses on PLM, data governance, configuration management, and engineering process optimisation.
The CAD component is important, but this is fundamentally a Product Lifecycle Management role rather than a design engineering position.
Key Responsibilities
PLM & Product Data Management
Manage and govern product data within the 3 DEXPERIENCE platform Maintain product structures, EBOMs, configurations, revisions, and engineering releases Support engineering change management processes and workflows Ensure data quality, traceability, compliance, and lifecycle governance Drive adoption of best practices for PLM and digital engineering processes Establish and maintain a single source of truth for engineering data Support virtual twin and digital transformation initiatives Partner with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and program teams to improve end-to-end product lifecycle processes3 DEXPERIENCE Platform Support
Provide advanced user support across ENOVIA and the wider 3 DEXPERIENCE ecosystem Configure and optimise workflows, roles, permissions, and lifecycle states Troubleshoot complex platform, workflow, and data issues Support integration between 3 DX and connected enterprise systems Deliver training and mentoring to engineering usersCAD & Engineering Support
Support CATIA and CAD users operating within the 3 DEXPERIENCE environment Manage CAD data, release processes, and design collaboration workflows Ensure engineering deliverables comply with established PLM standards and governance requirementsWhat We're Looking For
Essential
Strong hands-on experience with 3 DEXPERIENCE (3 DX) Deep understanding of ENOVIA and PLM processes Experience managing product structures, EBOMs, configurations, revisions, and releases Strong knowledge of engineering change management and product data governance Experience supporting enterprise-wide engineering data management environments Automotive OEM or Tier 1 supplier experience Strong CATIA V5 / CATIA 3 DEXPERIENCE experience Configuration management experience Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skillsIf you have deep 3 DEXPERIENCE and PLM expertise and are looking to contribute to a global automotive program, we would love to hear from you, apply today.
Important
This role requires genuine hands-on experience with 3 DEXPERIENCE and PLM processes.
Candidates whose experience is primarily limited to CAD modelling or mechanical design without significant experience with 3 DEXPERIENCE, product data management, engineering release processes, and PLM workflows will not be suitable and hence, won't be considered.
