Leading and executing all elevator activities in support of the operational and commercial business plan while focusing on safety, productivity, communication, and profitability.What You'll Be DoingManage and direct all functions of operations, training and safety to ensure employees are engaged and adhere to safe work practicesOriginate grain in accordance with flexible marketing and origination, foster and grow customer relationships along the value chain, manage facility logistics (truck, rail, barge) and oversee all operational expenses to ensure the budget and business plans are achievedManage grain inventories, grading processes, monitor grain quality and capture blending opportunitiesOversee facility housekeeping, regulatory compliance, best practice programs to ensure adherence to the Company's safety and operational standardsResponsible for completing accounting and business control activities including but not limited to: inputting contracts, contract/ticket applications, customer reports, daily activity reports, and month-end accountingManage customer service issues and relationsSkills / Experience RequirementsBachelor's degree in Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Business or relevant discipline5+ years applicable experienceProficient with basic computer skills, including Email, Excel, Microsoft Word, and other technical software packagesProficient understanding of company software and operation systemsProven skills related to leading and managing staff membersExcellent communication (verbal/written) skills with ability to effectively communicate internally and externallyExpert in the areas of safety, productivity and teamworkExpert knowledge of hedging on the Chicago Board of Trade, grain contracting, and NGFA rules preferredKnowledge in agriculture is requiredSAP/GTM experience requiredP&L experience requiredBunge offers a variety of benefits including health and wellness plans, retirement contribution and paid vacation/holidays.At Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
