• Core Technology Infrastructure & Systems Management
• Oversee the availability, scalability, and performance of core trading platforms, leased lines, low-latency networks, and co-location (colo) facilities.
• Manage enterprise servers/ infrastructure, database environments, backup mechanisms, and storage systems.
• Act as the primary technical liaison with stock exchanges, depositories, market data vendors, and OMS/RMS providers.
• Design, regularly test, and execute robust Disaster Recovery (DR) and Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
• Manage IT hardware assets, software licenses, lifecycle management, and Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs).
• Cybersecurity & Threat Management
• Monitor network traffic, deploy Next-Gen Firewalls, enforce network micro-segmentation, and establish robust DDoS protection.
• Deploy security controls like encryption, multi-factor authentication, role-based access control, EDR/XDR deployments across server, trading APIs, and vendor interfaces.
• Conduct Risk Assessments and oversee Security Testing, periodic vulnerability scans, penetration tests, VAPT etc.
• Manage continuous cyber monitoring, threat detection, and mitigation workflows.
• DPDP Act & Data Privacy Operations
• Standardize verifiable consent forms and itemized privacy notices, build and maintain an active Record of Processing Activities (RoPA).
• Implement Data Loss Prevention (DLP) controls to prevent leakages of sensitive investor financial records, PAN, and Aadhaar data.
• Establish and manage automated or structured workflows to process data principal rights, queries, and complaints.
• Regulatory Compliance & Audit Management
• Ensure all IT infrastructure and security architecture strictly align with the SEBI CSCRF , exchange / depository circulars etc..
• Lead and facilitate mandatory systemic audits, Cybersecurity audits, VAPT audits, and regulatory technology submissions to the exchanges.
• Oversee third-party risk assessments for software vendors, algorithmic trading tool providers, and other service providers.
• Skills & Qualifications
• Minimum 3 years of experience with a proven track record inside a stockbroking firm or capital markets fintech.
• Deep understanding of financial networks, co-location setups, trading architectures (OMS/RMS, market data feeds etc.), Linux/Windows server administration, enterprise networking, trading infrastructure APIs, order routing networks, SIEM platforms.
• Experience in cybersecurity, technical risk management, data privacy frameworks, practical understanding of SEBI CSCRF, DPDP Act, SOC standard controls, DLP etc.
• B.Tech, MCA, or a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology.
• Technical Certifications like CISA, CISM, or specialized certifications preferred.
