As an Adult Clinical Assessor in Luton, you'll use the skills you've already developed — clinical reasoning, assessment, communication and professional judgement — in a completely different working environment.
You'll conduct telephone and face-to-face assessments on behalf of the DWP, exploring how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily life and functional ability.
You'll review medical evidence, ask the right questions and produce clear, objective reports.
No previous assessor experience required. Full paid training provided.

You'll:
Conduct telephone and face-to-face assessmentsReview medical evidence and supporting informationExplore how conditions affect daily activities and functional abilityUse clinical reasoning and professional judgementProduce accurate, evidence-based reportsThis is not a hands-on treatment role. There are no traditional clinical shifts, and you'll have the opportunity to focus on assessment, analysis and report writing.
Who We're Looking ForWe're looking for healthcare professionals with:
Active NMC, HCPC or GPhC registrationAt least 1 year of post-registration adult clinical experienceStrong communication and report-writing skillsGood IT skillsConfidence working independentlyThe ability to analyse complex clinical informationSuitable backgrounds include Nursing, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Paramedicine and Pharmacy.
