Business development executive

Elevate Academy is a software training academy focused on providing industry-oriented IT training, career guidance, placement assistance, and job-ready skills to students and working professionals.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Business Development Counsellor to join our Coimbatore team and help students choose the right career-oriented training programs.

Key Responsibilities

Counsel students and working professionals regarding IT courses and career opportunities. Understand students' educational background, career goals, and interests and recommend suitable courses. Handle enquiries through phone calls, Whats App, walk-ins, and other communication channels. Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into registrations. Explain course curriculum, duration, fees, placement assistance, and career opportunities. Maintain regular follow-ups with leads and update lead status. Achieve monthly admission and business development targets. Build and maintain positive relationships with students and parents. Coordinate with trainers and the academic team for student requirements. Maintain proper records of enquiries, follow-ups, admissions, and conversions. Participate in promotional activities, seminars, workshops, and student engagement activities. Support the team in achieving overall academy growth and business objectives.

Skills Required

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Good convincing and counselling abilities. Strong follow-up and lead-conversion skills. Target-oriented and self-motivated approach. Basic knowledge of IT/software courses is an added advantage. Ability to communicate professionally with students and parents. Good knowledge of Tamil and English. Basic computer and MS Office/Google Workspace skills.

Qualification & Experience

Any Bachelor's degree / MBA / equivalent qualification. Freshers with good communication and convincing skills can apply. Experience in education counselling, business development, sales, telecalling, or training institutes will be an added advantage.

Work Location – IMPORTANT

This is a strictly Work From Office position.

Work from home is NOT available. Candidates must be willing to work at our Coimbatore location. Only candidates who are currently in Coimbatore or willing to relocate to Coimbatore and work from office need to apply. Candidates looking for remote/WFH opportunities should not apply.
