Head of Physiotherapy (Clinical Lead)

ABOUT VECURA
VeCura is a doctor-led wellness and metabolic health clinic chain with 30+ branches across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Telangana and Andhra Pradesh, and more coming. We treat 35,000+ clients a year through structured programmes combining lifestyle, diet, device and physiotherapy. Muscle health and mobility are becoming central to how we care for clients, and we're building that function from the ground up.

THE ROLE
You will own physiotherapy across the VeCura network. You'll design and standardise our Physio module and train every branch physiotherapist to deliver both consistently. You'll also be the public face of physiotherapy at VeCura, explaining movement, strength and healthy ageing on camera to a large social media audience.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Clinical leadership
• Own the Physio module in every VeCura programme: assessment battery, session protocols, progression rules and outcome measures
• Co-develop programmes with our medical team
• Define contraindications, red flags and escalation pathways with the medical team, and keep protocols evidence-based and clinically defensible
• Audit protocol adherence and outcomes across branches, then fix the gaps
Training and team building
• Build the physio training curriculum: onboarding, module certification and periodic refreshers
• Train and mentor branch physiotherapists, in person and virtually
• Set quality standards and documentation norms, and run case reviews
Content and communication
• Appear regularly on VeCura's social media channels (reels, explainers, Q&A, live sessions)
• Work with the marketing team to plan, script and shoot content on mobility, strength, posture and healthy ageing
• Keep all public messaging accurate, responsible and free of exaggerated claims
• Support client education material and occasional workshops or corporate talks

WHAT YOU BRING (MUST-HAVE)
• BPT required; MPT (Musculoskeletal, Neuro, Sports or Geriatrics) strongly preferred
• 7+ years of clinical experience, including at least 2 years leading or training a team of physiotherapists
• Proven on-camera experience: social media content, YouTube, TV, webinars or brand videos. Please share links.
• Hands-on experience with strength and balance rehab in older adults or musculoskeletal populations
• Strong written and verbal communication in English and Tamil
• Ability to turn clinical protocols into simple, repeatable SOPs that others can follow

GOOD TO HAVE
• Certification or training in fall-prevention programmes (e.g., Otago), sarcopenia assessment or geriatric rehab
• Familiarity with EMS, body composition analysis (InBody) or strength testing
• Experience in a multi-branch clinic chain or a structured training role
• Telugu, Kannada or Malayalam knowledge is a plus
• An existing personal following as a health educator
