Media Relations & PR Specialist Responsibilities:Build and strengthen relationships with key financial journalists, producers, editors, and media decision-makers.Secure television appearances, media interviews, contributed articles, commentary opportunities, podcasts, and speaking engagements.Proactively pitch company executives and experts to relevant media outlets.Identify timely news, market trends, and thought leadership opportunities that can generate coverage.Coordinate media opportunities and provide support around interviews, appearances, and events.Help elevate the company's brand through consistent, high-quality earned media placements.
Media Relations & PR Specialist Qualifications:Proven experience in media relations, public relations, journalism, television booking, news production, or a related field.Strong existing network within U.S. financial and business media.Demonstrated success securing interviews, television bookings, earned media placements, and thought leadership opportunities.Familiarity with major financial and national news outlets, including television, digital, and print media.Strong understanding of financial markets, business news, and the media landscape.
