• Active Physician Assistant or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure in the State of Illinois.

• PA: Masters degree or equivalent in Physician Assistant studies (effective January 1, 2018).
• APRN: Masters in Nursing with current national certification in the appropriate specialty.
• P rior urology experience is strongly preferred but not required. Surgical or consult experience is a plus.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to foster collaboration and patient engagement.
• Proficiency in Electronic Medical Records.
• Current NCCPA certification (for PA) or national board certification (for APRN).
• Illinois Controlled Substance License within six months of hire.
• DEA registration eligibility and possession within six months of hire (may vary by site).
• Current BLS certification; PALS/ACLS certification as required by practice site.

• Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including on-call coverage, to meet patient and organizational needs.
• Capacity to work under pressure in challenging situations and respond quickly to patient needs in a fast-paced environment.
• Routine exposure to infectious specimens and patients, as well as potentially hazardous conditions.
• Competence in caring for patients across age groups, understanding developmental and aging patterns.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds independently; patient handling equipment and team assistance required for heavier lifts.
