Career Counsellor – US IT Staffing

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Career Counsellor to join our growing US IT staffing team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys connecting with people, understanding their career goals, and helping IT professionals find the right opportunities.
You will work closely with candidates, recruiters, and account managers while gaining hands-on experience in US staffing, technical recruitment, and the US hiring process.
Experience in US staffing or technical recruitment is preferred, but freshers with excellent communication skills and a strong interest in recruitment are also encouraged to apply. Training will be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Connect with IT professionals and understand their skills, experience, career goals, and job preferences. Identify and recommend suitable career opportunities based on candidate profiles and client requirements. Source candidates using Dice, Monster, Career Builder, Linked In, and internal databases. Review resumes and conduct initial discussions to understand candidate qualifications and expectations. Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates throughout the hiring process. Coordinate interviews, follow-ups, feedback, and candidate communication. Work closely with Senior Counsellors, Recruiters, and Account Managers to support client requirements. Maintain accurate and updated candidate information in internal systems. Learn and apply key US staffing concepts such as W2, C2 C, 1099, and work authorization. Achieve daily and weekly sourcing, candidate engagement, and submission targets.What We're Looking For
0 -1 year of experience in US staffing, IT recruitment, technical recruitment, or career counseling is preferred. Freshers with strong communication skills and an interest in US recruitment are welcome to apply. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities. Good understanding of candidate sourcing and job portals. Ability to work in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Strong follow-up and coordination skills. Willingness to work in US shifts (CST). Basic knowledge of US staffing terminology and work authorization is an advantage.Why Join Us?
