Job Summary:

The Civil & Structural Engineering Draftsman is responsible for preparing accurate and detailed engineering drawings, layouts, and construction documents including BOQ for civil and structural projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare detailed civil and structural engineering drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, details, reinforcement drawings, Structural GAD and fabrication drawings.
• Develop construction drawings based on engineering calculations, sketches, and design inputs.
• Prepare general arrangement (GA) drawings, foundation layouts, steel structure drawings, and concrete detailing.
• Produce reinforcement detailing and bar bending schedules (BBS), where required.
• Revise and update drawings according to engineer comments, client feedback, and project changes.
• Coordinate with structural engineers, civil engineers, and other project stakeholders.
• Maintain drawing registers, revision histories, and document control records.
• Assist in quantity take-offs and material estimation from engineering drawings when required.
• Support site teams by providing drawing clarifications and preparing as-built drawings.
• Perform quality checks to ensure drawing accuracy, completeness, and consistency before issue.
• Maintain project documentation and electronic drawing files in accordance with company procedures.

Required Qualifications:

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting Technology, or a related technical discipline.
• Certification in AutoCAD, Revit, Tekla or other drafting software is an advantage.

Experience :

• 7–10 years of experience in civil and structural drafting.
• Experience with industrial, or infrastructure projects is preferred. Technical Skills
• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Working knowledge of Revit Structure, Tekla Structures, or similar BIM software is preferred.
• Knowledge of structural detailing standards and construction methodologies.
• Familiarity with reinforced concrete (RC) and structural steel detailing.
• Understanding of engineering drawings, specifications, and applicable design codes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
