This is far from your typical cash accounting position! You'll support a high volume of financial activity across hundreds of bank accounts, working closely with Treasury, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Accounting teams. What You'll Be Doing As Cash AccountantManage and reconcile cash activity across a large portfolio of domestic and international bank accountsRecord daily financial transactions, including deposits, payments, transfers, banking fees, and debt activityPrepare weekly and monthly bank reconciliations while researching and resolving discrepanciesPartner with Treasury, Accounts Payable, and Accounts Receivable teams to ensure accurate transaction processingAssist with month end close activities, intercompany reconciliations, and general ledger reportingInvestigate outstanding transactions and coordinate with internal stakeholders to resolve issues efficientlySupport financial audits, internal controls, and accounting compliance initiativesIdentify opportunities to improve reporting accuracy, streamline processes, and enhance operational efficiencyWork with large volumes of financial data in a fast paced, evolving accounting environment
What You Bring As Cash Accountant1 to 2+ years of experience in accounting, cash operations, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related financial functionsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredPublic accounting experience is highly valuedSolid understanding of accounting principles, debits and credits, and general ledger activityStrong Excel skills with the ability to organize, analyze, and reconcile large data setsExperience working with a large ERP or accounting system preferredStrong analytical skills with the ability to research discrepancies and resolve complex transactionsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high volume environmentExperience with multicurrency transactions, SOX controls, or Yardi is a plusProactive, curious, and adaptable personality with a desire to continue learning and growing
