Assistant Controller / Controller - Credit Funds

This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the CFO, with oversight responsibility and the opportunity to operate as a true “right hand” within a lean, entrepreneurial team.

Responsibilities:Oversee preparation and review of NAV calculations across fund structuresPartner with fund administrators and counterparties to resolve discrepanciesReview and analyze remittances, deal activity, financing costs, and expensesCalculate management and incentive feesLead year-end audit processes and liaise with external auditorsReview fund tax returns and K-1sSupport compliance initiatives and internal controlsDrive process improvements, reporting enhancements, and system implementationsPerform data analysis and reconciliations across portfolios
Qualifications: ~8–12 years of experience, with strong fund accounting background (credit or alternatives preferred)Bachelor’s degree in xzbcwsv Accounting or related field (CPA strongly preferred)Experience with complex fund structures (Master/Feeder)Advanced Excel skills; exposure to programming or data tools is a plusAbility to operate independently in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentStrong attention to detail with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
