We are hiring for a leading NGO! Job Description: Lead the organisation's Finance, Governance & Legal function, serving as a strategic advisor to the CEO and Board while ensuring financial integrity, statutory compliance, and strong governance frameworks. Provide strategic financial leadership, long-term financial planning, budgeting, and Board-level financial insights. Oversee financial management, accounting operations, payroll, statutory deductions, internal controls, and Tally-based financial systems. Lead donor financial reporting, fund utilisation tracking, grant compliance, and financial modelling for fundraising initiatives. Ensure compliance with FCRA, FEMA, Companies Act (Section 8), Income Tax (12A/80G), CSR regulations, and other statutory requirements. Manage governance processes, Board documentation, legal matters, compliance calendars, and policy reviews Lead statutory and internal audits while maintaining relationships with auditors, bankers, government authorities, and legal advisors. Build and mentor a high-performing Finance & Accounts team while strengthening systems, controls, and digital finance processes. Identify and mitigate financial, operational, and compliance risks to support organisational growth and sustainability. Support high-value contracts, MoUs, tender negotiations, and strategic organisational decision-making. Drive financial excellence to enable Arpan's scale-up strategy and long-term impact.
