Your work profile

As a Deputy Manager in our Legal & Compliance Team, you’ll build and nurture positive working relationships with teams and clients expectations.

• Support the execution of compliance advisory engagements while ensuring adherence to internal SOPs and quality benchmarks.
• Assist in conducting compliance audits, regulatory gap assessments, statutory mapping, and preparation of remediation recommendations.
• Contribute to drafting and reviewing engagement deliverables including compliance reports, manuals, checklists, and regulatory frameworks.
• Provide sector specific regulatory support (pharmaceuticals, NBFCs, manufacturing) under guidance from senior team members.
• Support interpretation and implementation of central and state legislation relevant to client operations.
• Build strong working knowledge of Labour Laws, EHS requirements, Finance & Taxation regulations, and Corporate Secretarial norms.
• Translate regulatory requirements into operational processes, internal controls, and compliance documentation.
• Track and summarize global and domestic regulatory updates to support impact assessment and client compliance implementation Work with internal stakeholders to support closure of compliance gaps and implementation of recommended actions.
• Support internal engagement clearance processes and documentation requirements.
• Mentor junior team members, participate in training activities, and contribute to team coordination and knowledge sharing.
• Assist in proposal preparation, research assignments, client presentations, and compliance tool usage/automation efforts.

Key skills required:

• 7+ years of relevant experience in Regulatory Compliance
• Education: Any graduation degree + LLB is mandate , LLM , CS or other equivalent certification relevant to Compliance
• Legal & Global compliance laws knowledge
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and statutory compliance requirements.
• Ability to interpret legislation and translate legal provisions into operational guidance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to track and analyze regulatory developments and provide timely updates
