Most product videos are made to be watched once and scrolled past. We have no interest in making those.

At Astralight, the film is often the reason someone falls in love with the product — the way light moves across leather, the grain of wood catching a slow pan, the half-second that makes a person stop and actually feel something. If you know the difference between a video and a film, and you've been waiting for a brand that treats that difference as the entire point, read on.

We're a boutique brand and growth studio working with premium D2 C and consumer brands across footwear, furniture, and more. We're building a freelance content team and looking for two people — or one rare person who is both:

A videographer who can light and shoot cinematic product and brand films

An editor who cuts with rhythm, restraint, and a real sense of mood

What the work looks like

– Product films, brand stories, and ad creatives for launch campaigns

– Mostly product / tabletop / lifestyle — texture, light and details

– Formats built for Instagram, You Tube and paid ads (9:16, 3:4, 16:9)

You'll fit if you

– Have a reel that speaks for itself — this matters far more than a CV

– Own or can arrange your own kit

– Obsess over pacing, sound and color as much as the shot itself

– Care about the small things most people never notice
