Schedule: Thursday, Friday, Saturday 7:00pm-7:30am Pay Range: $23.50-29.00 per hour, plus a $2.00/hour shift differential. About Your Role: As a Maintenance Technician I at Dollar Tree’s Distribution Center, you’ll perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair conveyors, building systems, machinery, and electrical/controls equipment. You’ll help ensure that all equipment operates at peak efficiency while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. Your day-to-day job duties include, but are not limited to, the following: Maintenance & Equipment Support: * Perform preventive maintenance and emergency repairs on equipment, including lift trucks, pneumatic systems, hydraulic equipment, dock equipment, and electrical/electronic systems * Troubleshoot and repair complex electrical/electronic problems with equipment, networks, logic controls, PLCs, motor drives (Servo and VFD), and external I/O devices * Diagnose electrical problems using technical drawings (blueprints, schematics) and diagnostic tools (multi-meter, laptop) * Assist other maintenance technicians in the repair and maintenance of equipment * Initiate and implement new procedures or designs to maintain equipment efficiency * Maintain organized work area and promote a safe working environment within the Maintenance department Documentation & Communication: * Complete work orders, records, logs, and other documentation according to established procedures * Communicate technical issues effectively to associates, leadership, and suppliers to minimize equipment downtime * Ensure workmanship meets the highest quality standards Equipment Operation: * Operate material handling equipment, battery-powered equipment, and other powered machinery safely * Maintain a customer service-oriented approach while addressing technical issues Your Required Skills and Experience: * Coursework or certification in electronic technology and 2 years industrial maintenance experience specializing in electronic technology OR 3 years industrial maintenance experience in electronic technology (including troubleshooting and repairing automated equipment)
- PLC/PC programming knowledge and troubleshooting experience
- Hands-on industrial electrical experience, including 480V 3-phase, 110 VAC,
