Since its founding in 1985, Queen of Peace Center (QOPC) has been providing family-centered behavioral healthcare for women, children, and families. As a member of the Federation of Catholic Charities, we serve the metropolitan and surrounding St. Louis area through four core programs: prevention, education, treatment, and housing. Job Summary Catholic Charities of the Archdiocse of St. Louis is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst. This position will support the service lines of Saint Louis Counseling and Queen of Peace Center through financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and operational analysis. Reporting to the CFO, this role partners with ministry leadership to provide financial insights that support stewardship, performance improvement, and strategic decision-making. Starting annual compensation is $105,000, with the opportunity for increased compensation based on qualifications, relevant experience, and demonstrated expertise. Job Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, forecasting, cash flow planning, variance analysis, and long-range financial planning.
- Analyze operating results and develop financial reports, dashboards, KPIs, and management reporting tools for leadership, committees, and boards.
- Monitor behavioral health revenue streams and revenue cycle performance, including reimbursement, collections, payer mix, denials, accounts receivable, and EHR-to-general ledger reconciliations; partner with operational leaders to improve financial performance and cash collections.
- Perform financial modeling, scenario analysis, and operational assessments related to staffing, reimbursement changes, program expansion, and service-line performance.
- Support grant and contract funding through budget preparation, reimbursement analysis, expenditure monitoring, compliance reporting, and review of Department of Mental Health reimbursements.
- Support month-end close, reconciliations, audits, Form 990 preparation, regulatory reporting, and related compliance activities.
- Serve as a key financial partner to ministry leadership and collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Revenue Cycle, Human Resources, and other departments on strategic initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or related field required.
- Five to seven years of progressive experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, healthcare finance, or related disciplines required.
- Experience in healthcare, behavioral health, nonprofit, human services, or grant-funded environments, including nonprofit reporting and reimbursement methodologies, preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling, pivot tables, complex formulas, and dashboard development.
- Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and EHR data analytics preferred.
- Strong knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and performance measurement.
- Working knowledge of Medicaid, managed care reimbursement, grants management, and contract funding preferred.
