The CompanyAn established commercial roofing contractor working across a multi-state footprint, with a mix of regional and national customers. The business combines service and maintenance work with reroof production across common low-slope single ply, coating and restoration systems. Service and maintenance relationships are the front door: inspections and repairs open accounts, and those accounts convert into larger reroof work overtime.
Many customers own multiple buildings, so a single relationship generates repeat revenue for years rather than a one-off sale. Installation crews are directly employed and trained on the systems they install, and estimating, production and service all sit in-house. Sales is supported rather than self-sufficient, so proposals, pricing and delivery are handled by the people who own those functions.
Your RoleOwn a commercial territory covering roughly three hours around the Pennsylvania office, plus national accounts wherever you find themSelf-generate pipeline through cold prospecting, networking and direct relationships with building owners and facility decision-makersWalk and inspect roofs, gather measurements and scope, and hand accurate information to estimatingPresent proposals, follow up and close production and service workConvert service and maintenance relationships into full reroof projectsBuild and own a recurring book of multi-location and national accountsBring commercial roofing best practice into a sales function that is still being built
Key Requirements5+ years selling commercial roofingDemonstrable production of $3M to $5M+ per yearProven ability to generate your own pipeline rather than work a lead listLow-slope technical knowledge across single ply, coatings and restoration, sufficient to inspect roofs and scope work unaidedClean driving record, background check and drug screen
