Job Description

*** A PDF resume is required to apply. NYC-metro candidates only; this role is based in person at our Midtown New York office. ***

The following information provides an overview of the skills, qualities, and qualifications needed for this role.
Tenfore Holdings is hiring an Investment Analyst in New York City to work across the full investment lifecycle, from sourcing and diligence through execution and post-close value creation.
ABOUT TENFORE HOLDINGS
Tenfore Holdings is a New York–based global investment firm that backs venture/early-stage, growth-stage, and middle-market companies with a focus on proprietary data and technology. Founded in 2013, the firm has offices in New York and Abu Dhabi and is backed by leading family offices and institutional investors across North America, the UAE, Europe, and the Nordics.
We apply a value-investing discipline to technology company investments. We look for undervalued technology and data businesses, invest across stages and structures, and stay involved for the long term. Beyond capital, we provide strategic guidance and hands-on Operational-Value Added (OVA) support to management teams.
Some of our focus areas include advanced manufacturing, agriculture and food systems, logistics, healthcare and personalized medicine, water, the circular economy, and AI-powered data and analytics.
In 2025, Tenfore launched the 4IR Value Opportunity Holding Company, a permanent capital vehicle that invests in data-rich, technology-enabled companies and cash-flowing assets. Permanent capital lets us hold great businesses for as long as they compound.
Past and present investments include StubHub (IPO), GameChanger (acquired by Dick's Sporting Goods), Trulioo, Rhumbix (acquired by Autodesk), SupplyShift (acquired by Sphera), Optoro (acquired by Blue Yonder), Tealium, Humatics, Stardog, Ketos, Aperia, and Inspire.
THE ROLE
We invest venture capital in technology companies and growth equity in middle-market companies. As a result, this role sees a broader range of deal types than at a single-strategy VC or PE firm. In one week you might meet with 10 new companies, create investment memos, build a financial model for a cash-flowing company, run a waterfall analysis for a venture investment, pressure-test cohort data for a high-growth business, and work through pricing with a portfolio company CEO. You will work directly with everyone on our team, with real responsibility and exposure to investments from day one.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Sourcing• Build investment theses and market maps in our focus sectors• Screen opportunities and build relationships with founders, co-investors, and intermediaries
Underwriting and diligence• Build operating, returns, cap table, and valuation models (waterfalls, comps, precedents, DCF)• Analyze cohort, retention, and unit-economics data for multi-stage businesses• Lead commercial diligence: TAM, competitive landscapes, customer and expert interviews, site visits
Execution• Draft investment memos and present recommendations• Support term sheet negotiation and structuring across equity, preferred, and debt
Portfolio value creation• Partner with portfolio management on pricing, go-to-market, KPIs, benchmarking, and add-on acquisitions• Prepare operating materials, monitor performance, and support follow-ons and exit planning• Contribute to investor reporting
Weekly NYC visits to events, conferences, trade shows, and other sourcing venues are expected.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Required• 1.5–4 years in technology M&A or TMT investment banking, growth equity, venture capital, private equity, or equity research• Strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including three-statement and operating models• Clear, concise writing that turns complex analysis into a crisp recommendation• Bachelor's or Master's degree with a strong academic record• Based in the NYC metro area
Preferred• Exposure to both structured deals and venture/growth-stage investing• Prior startup/operating experience at, or deep coverage of, tech companies in commerce, data/AI, supply chain, industrial tech, agtech, or health tech• Comfort with Excel and AI tools in your research workflow
You're intellectually curious, self-directed, and comfortable with ambiguity. You like owning a workstream end to end, and you are eager to roll up your sleeves.
WHY TENFORE
• Venture, growth, and middle-market deals, plus portfolio operations, in one seat• Direct access to the investment team, founders, and Boards• A global platform spanning New York, the GCC, Europe, and the Nordics• Patient, permanent capital and a long-term approach to your career• This role offers a $125,000 - $150,000 salary plus a performance bonus
HOW TO APPLY
Submit your resume as a PDF; applications without one won't be reviewed. Our process includes an initial screen, team interviews, and a modeling/case study exercise. xzbcwsv
