About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head Sales (Cars) to lead the sales function for a reputed automobile dealership. The candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth, managing dealership sales operations, leading high-performing teams, and ensuring exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall car sales operations and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets. Develop and execute strategic sales plans to maximize market share and profitability. Manage, train, motivate, and monitor the performance of the sales team. Drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and conversion initiatives. Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, corporate clients, and channel partners. Analyze sales performance, market trends, and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities. Ensure effective showroom management and adherence to dealership standards. Collaborate with finance, insurance, marketing, and service teams to enhance customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with management for optimal stock planning. Prepare sales forecasts, MIS reports, and business performance reviews.

Desired Candidate Profile

Graduate/Post Graduate in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. 10–15 years of experience in automobile sales, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Strong knowledge of passenger vehicle sales and dealership operations. Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets. Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and team management skills. Customer-centric approach with strong business acumen. Experience in handling large sales teams and multi-channel sales operations will be preferred.
