Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) – Skilled Nursing

Petaluma, CA | Full-Time 

We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA/OTA) to join a supportive therapy team in a skilled nursing facility in Petaluma, CA .

Responsibilities

• Provide occupational therapy treatments under the direction of an Occupational Therapist
• Help patients improve independence with ADLs, mobility, strength, coordination, and functional skills
• Follow individualized plans of care
• Document patient progress accurately and timely
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team
• Educate patients and caregivers as appropriate

Qualifications

• Current California COTA/OTA license
• Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Strong communication and patient-care skills
• SNF/post-acute experience preferred, but not required
