About the Role The Associate Counsel will join the legal team of a growing real estate investment, development, and asset management company and serve as a key legal partner to business stakeholders across the organization. This role offers broad exposure to real estate transactions, commercial contracting, corporate governance, investment-related matters, compliance, and litigation management.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, negotiate, and advise on a broad range of agreements, including purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, financing documents, vendor agreements, employment-related agreements, and other corporate contracts.
• Support real estate acquisitions, dispositions, developments, financings, and joint venture transactions, including conducting and coordinating legal due diligence.
• Assist with corporate governance matters, including board materials, entity management, corporate records, and organizational compliance.
• Manage litigation matters and collaborate with outside counsel on disputes, claims, and risk mitigation strategies.

Required Qualifications

• J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school and active membership in good standing with at least one U.S. state bar.
• 4-7 years of legal experience, focused on real estate, corporate transactions, finance, or commercial litigation.
• Experience drafting, negotiating, and managing complex commercial and real estate agreements.
