Lead day-to-day field operations on retail construction projects. Manage schedules, subcontractors, safety, and project delivery. About Our Client Michael Page is hiring within the property industry in New York. Job Description Manage daily on-site construction activities, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations. Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and vendors to maintain project schedules and budgets. Oversee quality control and ensure that all work meets established standards. Resolve on-site issues and provide solutions to minimize delays. Maintain accurate project documentation and reports. Conduct site inspections to monitor progress and adherence to project plans. Ensure effective communication between all project stakeholders. Promote and enforce safety procedures on-site. The Successful Applicant A successful Commercial Superintendent should have: Experience with overseeing commercial construction projects from start to finish. Strong knowledge of construction processes, safety protocols, and building codes. Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate with diverse teams effectively. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges. Strong communication and leadership abilities.
