Job Description Job Title: Manager, FinOps Location: Bengaluru Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and highly accountable Manager, FinOps to lead cloud financial operations, cost governance, billing transparency, and optimization initiatives across global cloud platforms. This role requires strong FinOps expertise, excellent analytical capability, and exceptional communication skills to manage global stakeholders across IT, Finance, Engineering, Procurement, and business teams. The successful candidate should be able to operate independently, drive daily FinOps activities, resolve stakeholder queries, and provide seamless coverage in the absence of the reporting manager. Key Responsibilities: Lead FinOps operations across AWS, Azure, and GCP, ensuring cost visibility, governance, optimization, accurate reporting, and billing transparency for global stakeholders Manage cloud billing, cost allocation, chargeback/showback, tagging compliance, budget tracking, forecasting, and spend variance analysis Partner with Finance, Engineering, DevOps, Procurement, and business teams to align cloud consumption with financial targets and enterprise governance standards Translate complex cloud cost data into clear, actionable insights, dashboards, and executive-ready recommendations Independently handle daily FinOps operations, stakeholder queries, billing escalations, reporting requests, and follow-ups during the reporting manager's absence Identify and drive optimization opportunities, including rightsizing, commitment coverage, storage optimization, idle resource cleanup, and usage trend analysis Improve FinOps processes, controls, documentation, governance cadences, and stakeholder communication routines Coach analysts and team members on FinOps best practices, cloud billing processes, reporting standards, and stakeholder engagement Requirements: 8 years of experience in IT, Cloud Operations, Finance Operations, or related roles, with strong exposure to FinOps and cloud cost management Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP billing constructs, consumption models, commitment discounts, and cost optimization levers Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills, with confidence engaging global, cross-functional, and senior stakeholders Ability to work independently, take ownership of daily operations, resolve queries, manage escalations, and provide reliable backup coverage during the manager's absence Strong financial analysis, forecasting, budgeting, variance-analysis, and data-interpretation skills Hands-on experience with cloud cost and analytics tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, GCP Billing, Power BI, Excel, SQL, or equivalent platforms Strong problem-solving mindset with attention to detail, accountability, and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced global environment Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Finance, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field Experience applying AI for FinOps use cases, including cost anomaly analysis, forecasting support, automation, and insight generation undefined Python data analytics for automation, reporting, data validation, and cloud cost analysis Power BI dashboard development for cloud spend visibility, KPI tracking, and executive reporting Hands-on cloud platform experience across Azure, AWS, and GCP Expertise in FinOps commitment-plan strategies, including enterprise discount programs, Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, Spot usage, Sustained Use Discounts, and Committed Use Discounts Experience with agentic AI concepts and AI-enabled workflow automation for FinOps reporting and analysis Advanced Excel skills for financial modelling, variance analysis, reconciliations, and executive reporting Strong understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, chargeback/showback, and business analytics Proven ability to collaborate with global teams across Finance, IT, Engineering, Procurement, and business stakeholders Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as part of a team while delivering superior customer service Understanding of application development environments, databases, data management, and infrastructure capabilities and constraints Ability to analyse large datasets and produce meaningful insights for operational, financial, and executive decision-making Location(s) Bengaluru - Brookfield GCC Kraft Heinz is an Equal Opportunity Employer - Underrepresented Ethnic Minority Groups/Women/Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities/Sexual Orientation/Gender Identity and other protected classes .
