Senior AI/ML & Data Engineer - Islamabad

Requirements

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy scalable AI/ML and Data Engineering solutions
• Work hands-on with Python, SQL, machine learning, data pipelines, APIs, databases, and cloud platforms
• Develop solutions using Generative AI, LLMs, RAG, NLP, predictive analytics, and AI/ML frameworks
• Design and implement data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data processing solutions
• Evaluate technical requirements and recommend the most appropriate architecture, tools, and technologies
• Engage directly with clients to understand their business and technical challenges
• Lead technical discovery calls, presentations, solution discussions, demos, and POCs
• Prepare technical proposals, solution architectures, project scopes, estimates, and SOWs
• Work closely with Sales and leadership to identify, develop, and close new project opportunities
• Address technical objections and communicate complex solutions in a clear, business-focused manner
• Build strong client relationships and identify opportunities for upselling and long-term engagements
• Collaborate with engineering and delivery teams to ensure successful project handover and execution

Qualification & Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field
• 4-8 years of relevant professional experience in AI/ML, Data Engineering, Data Science, or a related domain
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL
• Hands-on experience with Machine Learning, Deep Learning, NLP, and Generative AI
• Experience with LLMs, RAG, embeddings, vector databases, and AI agents is highly desirable
• Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT, data pipelines, data modeling, databases, and data warehousing
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
• Familiarity with ML/AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn, or similar
• Experience with APIs, microservices, Git, CI/CD, and production deployment
• Strong understanding of system architecture, scalability, performance, and data security
• Strong hands-on technical and problem-solving capabilities
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong client-facing, presentation, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills
• Ability to translate technical solutions into clear business value
• Proven ability to take ownership of opportunities and drive them from discovery to closure
• Commercially driven, proactive, and comfortable working with both technical and business stakeholders
