General Manager DRI

Employment Information The position is with Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited, a subsidiary of Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys Private Limited. While Shri Mahavir Ferro Alloys Private Limited is the parent/group company, all recruitment, employment, payroll, and related HR processes for this role will be managed by Envirocare Infrasolution Private Limited. We are looking for an experienced DRI Plant Head to lead the overall operations of our Rotary Kiln-based DRI Plant. The role is responsible for driving production, process optimization, maintenance, quality, safety, planning, and cost management while ensuring operational excellence, high productivity, and compliance with statutory and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and manage end-to-end DRI plant operations, including Production, Process, Maintenance, Quality, and Planning & Dispatch. Ensure achievement of production targets with optimum kiln availability and improved campaign life. Drive process improvements, productivity enhancement, cost optimization, and operational excellence. Ensure uninterrupted availability of raw materials and efficient plant operations. Monitor plant performance, analyze process deviations, and implement Root Cause Analysis (RCA) and CAPA. Prepare and manage annual budgets while controlling operational costs and improving cost per tonne. Lead and develop high-performing teams through coaching, performance management, and training. Ensure compliance with EHS, IMS, ISO, statutory regulations, and environmental norms. Foster a strong culture of safety, continuous improvement, and operational discipline. Eligibility B.E./B.Tech in Metallurgical or Mechanical Engineering. 15–20 years of experience in Rotary Kiln-based DRI Plant operations. Prior experience as a DRI Plant Head, HOD, or Process Head is preferred.
