Highway Engineer

Project Engineer Requirements & Qualifications

• 5–10 years of relevant engineering experience
• Currently registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania
• Valid driver's license

Project Engineer Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Design and manage PennDOT and PTC transportation projects
• Prepare and review construction plans, signing and pavement marking, traffic control, and E&S plans
• Conduct or review design and quantity calculations
• Support coordination and communication with utility providers
• Prepare project scopes and pricing for transportation projects across public agencies, private clients, and construction firms
• Foster and maintain positive client relationships throughout all project phases
