Accounts Payable Specialist

ResponsibilitiesReview, verify, code, and process high-volume invoices and payment requests, ensuring proper approvals and supporting documentation. Perform purchase order matching, account reconciliations, and research to resolve invoice discrepancies, payment issues, and outstanding transactions. Serve as a primary point of contact for vendors and internal departments regarding invoice status, payment inquiries, and account discrepancies. Process vendor payments through checks, ACH, and other approved methods while maintaining accurate vendor and financial records. Support month-end and fiscal year-end close activities, audits, and compliance with established accounting, purchasing, and internal control procedures. xzbcwsv Provide guidance to Accounts Payable staff and identify opportunities to improve AP processes, accuracy, documentation, and workflow efficiency.
