We are representing a globally recognized manufacturing organization actively seeking an Operations Manager to lead production at their Michigan facility. This leader will oversee plant production lines, coordinate cross-functional teams, and drive performance across safety, quality, and delivery.
Position OverviewLeads production supervisors, technicians, and a large production workforce (100+ employees)Owns daily performance against safety, quality, delivery, and cost KPIsEnforces safety protocols and drives lean manufacturing principles and daily management systems to hit output targetsPartners with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to improve plant throughput and resolve operational issuesContributes to annual operating plans, labor capacity models, and staffing strategyLeads continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and strengthen plant performanceDevelops, coaches, and holds accountable a strong front-line leadership team
Position RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, xzbcwsv Supply Chain, Business, or a related field (or equivalent manufacturing experience)5+ years of manufacturing experience, including 3+ years in a leadership or plant management roleWorking knowledge of ERP systems and Lean/Six Sigma toolsProven ability to lead teams, drive results, and work cross-functionallyStrong communication and problem-solving skills
