Hiring: School Social Worker

Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a School Social Worker for a full-time, onsite position in Roxbury, MA. This opportunity is available ASAP through January 4, 2027. The selected candidate will support high school students while collaborating with staff, families, and educational teams to help students achieve academic and social-emotional success.

Position Details

• Full-Time, Contract Position
• Roxbury, MA
• ASAP Start
• Assignment Through January
• 37.5 Hours Per Week
• Schedule: 7:30 AM - 3:30 PM
• One School Site
• High School Caseload
• Approximately 35 Students
• Onsite Only

Responsibilities

• Provide social work services to students in grades 9-12
• Support students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
• Participate in IEP, eligibility, and student support meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and case notes
• Assist in developing interventions and support plans
• Connect students and families with appropriate resources and services

Qualifications

• Active Massachusetts School Social Worker/School Adjustment Counselor Certification required
• Experience working with middle or high school students preferred
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain documentation
• Previous school-based experience preferred
