TASL's H125 Final Assembly Line (FAL) at Vemagal, Karnataka, manufactures and assembles Airbus H125 helicopters, supporting the growth of India's aerospace manufacturing ecosystem. This is an excellent opportunity to work on world-class helicopter programs using advanced aerospace manufacturing and composite technologies in a globally recognized production environment.
Location: TASL – H125 Final Assembly Line (FAL), Vemagal, Kolar
Experience: 3–5 Years
We are looking for experienced Aircraft Composite Technicians with prior aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience to support the assembly, repair, and inspection of composite helicopter structures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform composite lay-up, trimming, drilling, riveting, and structural assembly activities.
- Carry out composite repair activities including layer replacement and core replacement .
- Execute vacuum bagging techniques and composite curing processes.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, installation drawings, process sheets, and work instructions.
- Perform structural fitting activities while ensuring adherence to aerospace quality standards.
- Conduct in-process and final inspection of composite assemblies.
- Ensure compliance with manufacturing procedures, safety requirements, and quality standards.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and product quality.
Required Skills
- 3–5 years of aerospace manufacturing or MRO experience
- Experience in composite lay-up and structural assembly
- Composite repair (layer replacement, core replacement)
- Vacuum bagging and curing processes
- Composite drilling, riveting, trimming
- Ability to read engineering and structural drawings
- Knowledge of in-process and final inspection
- Experience working on helicopters or aircraft structures will be an added advantage
