Senior Software Developer, eCommerce

<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY </b> </p><p>We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer with strong expertise in designing, developing, and supporting scalable web applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in e-commerce platforms, modern application architecture, backend services, frontend development, cloud technologies, and system integrations. Experience working with B2B or B2C commerce solutions is highly preferred. </p><p>The candidate will collaborate with product, business, QA, DevOps, and Commercial teams to deliver high-quality digital commerce experiences and enterprise-grade solutions.  </p><p><b>POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES </b> </p><p><b>Percent of Time </b> </p><li>Design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack web applications and APIs. <b>25% </b> </li><li>Build scalable backend services using Java and modern frameworks. <b>10% </b> </li><li>Develop responsive and user-friendly frontend interfaces using modern web technologies. <b>10% </b> </li><li>Implement and customize e-commerce features such as product catalog, cart, checkout, order management, promotions, subscriptions, and customer management. <b>10% </b> </li><li>Integrate applications with external systems including payment gateways, ERP platforms, CRM systems, inventory systems, and third-party services. <b>20% </b> </li><li>Develop and consume REST APIs and microservices- <b>10% </b> </li><li>Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and security <b>5% </b> </li><li>Participate in solution design, technical reviews, and architecture discussions- <b>5% </b> </li><li>Production issues and provide technical support when required <b>5% </b> </li><p><b>EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE </b> </p><li>8+ years of software development experience. </li><li>Strong experience in Java, Spring Boot, Spring MVC, J2EE, and related technologies. </li><li>Experience with frontend technologies such as: JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, JSP, Modern frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue preferred) </li><li>Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs. </li><li>Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle, MySQL, or SQL Server. </li><li>Experience with Git-based source control and CI/CD practices. </li><li>Understanding of cloud platforms and modern deployment practices. </li><li>Strong debugging, performance tuning, and problem-solving skills. </li><li>Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams </li><p><b>TECHNICAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS </b> </p><li>Hands-on experience with SAP Commerce Cloud (SAP Hybris) or other enterprise e-commerce platforms. </li><li>Experience in B2B and/or B2C commerce implementations. </li><li>Experience with:Payment gateway integrations (PayPal, Adyen, Stripe, etc.)Order management systemsProduct information managementSearch technologies (Solr, Elasticsearch)Azure or AWS cloud platforms </li><li>Understanding of commerce integration with ERP and fulfillment systems. </li><li>Experience with Microservices architecture. </li><li>Prior technical leadership or team mentoring experience. </li><p><b>Nice to Have: - </b> </p><li>SAP Commerce Cloud certification. </li><li>Experience in retail, healthcare or digital commerce domains. </li><li>Knowledge of DevOps practices, monitoring, and application support. </li><li>Experience with automated testing frameworks and quality code tools. </li><p><b>PHYSICAL POSITION REQUIREMENTS </b> </p><p>Office attendance- 50% attendance or as per local HR policy  </p>Full time<p><b>Notice: </b>Zoetis Recruiters will contact candidates via email from an address ending in <b>@zoetis.com </b> and may also initially connect with candidates through <b>LinkedIn </b>, including LinkedIn InMail.
