The OpportunityEpic Placements is partnering with a leading Colorado healthcare organization seeking a hands-on Cisco Network Engineer to support network infrastructure across hospitals, clinics, and regional healthcare facilities.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working directly with technology — installing switches, troubleshooting connectivity, upgrading equipment, and keeping critical networks running smoothly.
You'll work alongside an experienced senior network engineer, supporting infrastructure improvements and network modernization projects throughout Northern Colorado.
What You'll DoInstall, configure, and troubleshoot Cisco switches and networking equipment.Perform rack-and-stack installations, cabling, equipment replacements, and physical network deployments.Support core routing and switching, including VLANs, trunking, and network connectivity.Assist with network refreshes, hardware upgrades, and infrastructure migrations.Troubleshoot network performance, connectivity, and circuit-related issues.Travel between hospitals, clinics, and regional facilities to support network projects.Collaborate closely with a senior network engineer on deployments, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
What We're Looking ForHands-on experience with Cisco routing and switching technologies.Practical experience installing, configuring, and replacing network switches.Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, and network troubleshooting.Comfortable performing physical infrastructure work, including rack-and-stack and cabling.Willingness to travel between healthcare facilities throughout Northern Colorado.Strong communication skills, reliability, and a collaborative approach.Must reside in Northern Colorado, east of I-25, with convenient access to Greeley.
Nice to HaveCisco Catalyst switching experience or CCNA certification.Wireless networking and access point deployment experience.Palo Alto firewall familiarity.Experience supporting multi-site enterprise or healthcare environments.Previous involvement in network infrastructure refreshes or upgrades.
