We're Hiring | Advocates (Lower Courts & Calcutta High Court)
Kshetry & Co. is expanding its litigation team and is inviting applications from dedicated Advocates with a passion for litigation.
Experience: 5+ years (Minimum 5 years of independent court practice)
Eligibility: Must be enrolled with the Bar Council.
Courts: Calcutta High Court, Bankshall Court, Sealdah Court, Alipore Court, Barasat Court, Barrackpore Court, other nearby district/lower courts
Experience Required In: Writ Petitions, CRR, CRM, CO, PIL, Police inaction matters, lower coirt petitions drafting, Other Civil and Criminal matters before the Hon’ble Calcutta High Court and other Courts & Tribunals.
Responsibilities:

• Court appearances and matter handling
• Moving matters and advancing proceedings
• Civil and Criminal litigation
• Drafting petitions, applications, affidavits, and legal notices
• Case preparation and client coordination
• Conducting arguments before the courts
• Drafting and vetting petitions
• Matter moving and court appearances
• Legal research and case strategy
• Briefing senior counsel where required
• Conducting hearings and arguments
  

(Remuneration will be commensurate with experience, knowledge, and court performance.)
Essential Skills

• Strong knowledge of court procedures and litigation practice
• Excellent drafting and legal research skills
• Ability to independently prepare and conduct cases
• Professional communication and commitment to deadlines
• Experience in handling matters from filing to final disposal
