Assistant Professor / Associate Professor / Professor – Law

DBS Global University invites applications for the positions of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor – Law . The selected candidates will be responsible for teaching, research, academic development, student mentoring, and contributing to the overall growth of the School of Law.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate strong subject expertise, a commitment to academic excellence, and an active interest in research, curriculum development, and contemporary developments in the legal profession.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging and high-quality lectures in the area of specialization.
• Develop course plans, teaching materials, presentations, assignments, and assessments.
• Adopt innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies.
• Conduct tutorials, seminars, case discussions, moot courts, and practical learning activities.
• Mentor and guide students in academic and professional matters.
• Evaluate student performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Participate in curriculum development, revision, and academic planning.
• Undertake independent and collaborative research in the area of specialization.
• Publish research papers in reputed UGC CARE/Scopus/Web of Science-indexed journals, as applicable.

Educational Qualifications

Assistant Professor – Law

• NET and Ph.D. in Law
• Master‘s Degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized university.

Associate Professor – Law

• Ph.D. in Law, NET, LL.M. from a recognized university
• Minimum 8 years of teaching/research experience in a University/College/recognized research institution or equivalent, subject to applicable regulatory norms.
• At least one candidate should have registered for a Ph.D. under your supervision/guidance.
• Minimum 7 research publications.

Professor – Law

• Ph.D. in Law, NET, LL.M. from a recognized university
• Minimum 10 years of teaching/research/academic experience , including experience at the level of Associate Professor or equivalent, subject to applicable regulatory norms.
• Minimum 10 research publications.
• At least 1 candidate should have completed his/her Ph.D. under your guidance.
• Experience in curriculum development, academic administration, funded research, and institutional development will be preferred.

Note: The candidate should have completed his/her degree from a top 10 institution in India or a reputed internationally recognized university/institution abroad.
