The ideal candidate will have experience managing litigation matters from inception through resolution and will thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. This position may be based in either the firm's Baltimore or Rockville, Maryland office.
Responsibilities
Manage litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycleDraft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other substantive legal filingsConduct legal research and analysisParticipate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trialsCollaborate closely with partners on complex litigation mattersCommunicate directly with clients, opposing counsel, experts, and witnessesAssume increasing responsibility for case strategy and matter management
Qualifications
J.D. from an accredited law schoolActive bar admission and good standing3-6 years of litigation experienceStrong academic xzbcwsv credentialsExcellent legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentDesire to take on significant responsibility and build a long-term litigation practice
