We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to design, develop, and support high-performance backend services

Required Skills-

Core and Advanced Java, including Java 8-17 features. Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Web Flux, Spring JDBC, and Spring AOP. Completable Future, asynchronous programming, reactive programming, and microservices. REST API design, error handling, validation, security, and service integration. JUnit, Mockito, Git Hub branching, pull requests, and CI/CD. Strong debugging, performance tuning, Linux/Unix, and Apache Tomcat knowledge.

Preferred Skills-

Experience in financial services, investment operations, accounting, reconciliation, or asset servicing. Experience modernizing legacy or mission-critical enterprise applications. Exposure to AS400/IBM i and DB2. Azure or AWS experience; Docker and Kubernetes exposure.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop scalable Java applications, REST APIs, and microservices. Build reactive or asynchronous services with Spring Web Flux and Completable Future where appropriate. Translate functional requirements and legacy behavior into maintainable Java components. Develop database-access layers and optimize application-to-database interactions. Create comprehensive unit, integration, and component tests. Review code and promote secure coding and engineering best practices. Troubleshoot application and production issues, perform root-cause analysis, and improve performance and stability. Contribute to CI/CD automation, deployments, monitoring, releases, and operational documentation. Collaborate with architects, analysts, QA, operations, support, and business stakeholders; mentor junior developers.
