Costing Executive

Location: Jaipur (on-site) Industry: Wholesale Luxury Goods & Jewellery Employment Type: Full-time Salary: ₹20,000–25,000/month About the role We are a Jaipur-based jewellery manufacturer and exporter setting up a dedicated costing function. We're looking for a detail-oriented Costing Executive to maintain accurate cost data in our software and support pricing accuracy. You'll work closely with our sourcing and sales teams as a neutral coordinator. Training on our software and on gemstone/product basics will be provided — a costing or accounting background matters more than jewellery experience. Key responsibilities Enter and maintain stone, metal, labour, and plating cost data in our software (for approval) Reconcile supplier invoices against standard costs and flag material deviations Prepare cost variance reports (standard vs actual, target vs actual) for management ⏱️ Track cost validity and flag outdated or missing costs to the right team Coordinate between sourcing and sales on cost information for special orders Maintain clean, well-documented cost records with a full audit trail What we're looking for ✅ Costing, accounting, or MIS background ✅ Strong Excel; comfortable with data entry accuracy and reconciliation ✅ Structured, detail-oriented, disciplined with numbers ✅ Willing to learn gemstone and jewellery product basics (training provided) ✅ Based in Jaipur Nice to have ➕ Exposure to standard costing / variance analysis ➕ Experience in a manufacturing, export, or trading house ➕ Familiarity with gemstones or the jewellery trade
