Job Description

Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room – Travel/Contract – Local Candidates Accepted. This 13‑week assignment in Greensboro, North Carolina offers competitive compensation and benefits, and the chance to provide high‑quality perioperative care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care to patients in the operating room, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

  • Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare and maintain sterile environments for procedures.

  • Monitor patient vital signs and respond to any changes during surgeries promptly.

  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient records, surgical procedures, and post‑operative care.

  • Assist in maintaining the overall organization and readiness of surgical supplies and equipment.

Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license from an accredited nursing program.

  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) if required by facility; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) if required.

  • Minimum of 1 year of recent operating room nursing experience.

  • Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, excellent communication skills, and strong attention to detail.
